Happy Valentine's Day!

This week Darrol and I were sick. I kept praying that Wyatt wouldn't get it. (Especially after we took him to get his 4 month shots. He did get a fever from the shots, like he normally does.) But, my prayer's were answered and he didn't get sick. If fact, he is doing much better. As I write this he is screaming away. Heh heh the irony.....a diaper change later....our child is very sensative when it comes to changing his diaper....a feeding later....still cranky, he needs a nap. Now, I remember why I gave up on Internet communication. :) (With all the interruptions this post took more than an hour to post!)

This morning when Wyatt woke me up around 8am, I asked Wyatt if he was hungry. He said: "Yeah." I thought he was done, and he started whining, and so I asked him again if he was hungry, once again he said a more muffled: "yeah". Then I tested his understanding and asked again and he said it again. Up until today he has only said: "No", "Mam", and make some other sounds. He was saying: "No" all the time. You don't realize how often you say something until your child starts repeating it.

For Valentine's Day I made Darrol some sugar cookies. Wyatt was so good, he slept most of the time. When he woke up he sat in his bumbo chair, happily, while I frosted and decorated the cookies.
